William (Bill) Reilly 1941 – 2012

​We were honored to have Bill Reilly as our business partner for over 20 years, and continue to provide insurance to many of his long-term clients.

​Bill began his insurance career in 1959 as an insurance clerk with GEICO, where he worked for 17 years, with a 6-year hiatus (1967-1973 ) during which he served in the U.S. Army Special Forces Group. He left GEICO as the Underwriting Manager for the 13 western states, supervising 205 employees and 5 managers. In 1976 he became an Independent Insurance Agent, and in 1983 joined  Mike Tulper to co-found Suncoast Insurance Services.

Bill was President of The Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of Marin from 1989 to 1991 and is missed greatly.
